My dad, (Pops) was in a terrible accident on    October 7th. He was on 99 coming up to a   construction work zone. He slowed down with the traffic and was hit from behind by a truck  going well over the speed limit. My guess the  guy was going at least 80mph. My dad was hit so hard from behind that he was pushed into and underneath the semi truck that was in  front of him. They had to use the Jaws Of Life  to get him out of his truck. The first responders said if he was in a smaller car he would have died. 

My dad has a fractured eye socket and nose.  The skin under his eye was split open and had to be stitched shut. He also has a broken hip and a few vertebrae in his back that are fractured. Mind you, he already had a bad back so thisis just going to make life harder for him. Those are just the major injuries, he was cuts and bruises all over his body. He is so lucky to be alive. 

Anyone  who knows my dad, knows how much of a great person he is. He is always helping others. From family, friends, to complete strangers. And he never expects anything in return. He has a tough long road ahead of him. I’m asking for him because I know he would never ask for help. Please, if you are able to help with anything we would greatly appreciate it.
