Hi, my name is Trisha Thompson and I, along with my husband (Chris), his brother (Jason), and our family find ourselves needing help with laying our Poppy, Tom Thompson, to rest.

 

Covid hit everyone hard, but it really took a toll on our Grandmommy (mom) and Poppy (dad). They found themselves in a dire situation and lost their life insurance.

 

Tom had been battling strokes and seizures for quite some time when he died suddenly early Friday morning, October 1st.

 

Our family, especially his wife Pat (our grandmommy) are devastated by Poppy’s passing. There are so many details to handle and it feels very overwhelming.

 

We are not the type of family to ask for help, and boy! is it tough to ask now. But with no life insurance to draw from, and the rising costs of everything (even burial costs and funerals), we have all found ourselves doing things we never dreamed we would.

 

If you knew Poppy, you know that underneath that gruff exterior, he had the biggest personality, and an even bigger heart. He purely and truly loved his wife, his sons, his grandchildren, his furbabies, and his Harley.

 

We are trying to sell things and do what we can as a family to get money together and take care of mom (Pat) but if you feel like you can, we’d truly appreciate anything anyone could contribute to help Poppy finish his last ride.

 

Our Poppy will be truly missed.
