Their competitive spirit reawakened by a desire to support the work RDA (Woodbridge & District), on Sunday 2nd November at Poplar Park, our head groom Stacey and driving coach Caitlin will take their courage in both hands, saddle-up and gallop into action for an adrenaline fuelled cross country course of 15 60-70cm jumps. Working closely with parents, carers, health professionals and teachers, the mission of RDA (Woodbridge & District) is to offer adults and children in Suffolk living with physical and learning disabilities; mental health issues; and longterm illness, the opportunity to keep active and enjoy activities that improve mental wellbeing.
With 150 regular participants range in age from 5 to 80+. RDA (Woodbridge & District) operate 6 days a week and addition to horse riding offer carriage driving, which allows wheelchair users to participate, and non-ridden equine activity sessions including a dementia support group.
