Popeye’s Cancer Surgery
Donation protected
I never thought this day would come, but my dog has been diagnosed with cancer. As most of you know, my mom is a teacher and LAUSD is on strike. This event is taking a toll on my family’s financial abilities, making being able to afford medical care for Popeye very difficult.
Because of the location of the growth, her spleen burst last night and her belly began to fill with fluid, making her very uncomfortable. During the surgery, cancerous masses were found in her liver and she needs them removed. Her condition is very treatable, especially because she is still young. She is still so full of life and has a strong will to live.
Popeye is a family member and we want to be there for her like she had been there for us.
Our family and the team of veterinarians helping to care for Popeye are focused on getting her better so she can live her fullest life.
