Every DIY touring band's worst nightmare has hit Popes of Chillitown. Our van has been stolen from outside our drummer’s house in south-west London, along with our equipment and merch. Guitars, amps, drums, cymbals, hardware, pedals, electronics, t-shirts, hoodies, CDs, vinyl, the lot. Some insured, lots not.

Needless to say, we are absolutely gutted. Anyone who has any contact with DIY bands knows what a blow this is.

Hopefully if all goes well, insurance should cover approximately £7000 worth of the gear, however due to various reasons another £3-4000 was not covered.

Any amount will help us start to replace what is replaceable, and get back on the road.
