Two years ago, a small group of us started a non-profit animal rescue organization. We initially planned to operate from a privately owned veterinary clinic to spay/neuter cats and dogs as well as provide other services such as fostering animals, etc. What we found worked best however and was more cost effective was partnering with Napa Humane to utilize their facilities which is what we have been doing since. We feel strongly about our organization and being able to help our community and those around us since there is a high need for spay/neuter services. The fundraising goal of $15,000 will go primarily towards supporting the ongoing work we are doing in running our periodic low-cost/free spay/neuter clinics for domestic and feral cats and occasional dogs, funding fostering costs and supporting our minimal operational funds. Our organization is tax-exempt with a 501c(3) so any donations are tax-deductible. We really need help reaching this goal and would appreciate your support.

Our Mission

At Pope Valley Animal Rescue, we are committed to reducing the overpopulation of stray and feral cats in our community. That is why we offer spay/neuter and trap/neuter/release (TNR) programs to help control the cat population and improve their welfare. Spaying or neutering your cat prevents unwanted litters, reduces the risk of certain diseases, and can improve their behavior. TNR is a humane method of trapping feral cats, sterilizing them, and returning them to their colonies, where they can live out their natural lives without reproducing. By participating in our spay/neuter and TNR programs, you are helping us make a positive difference for the cats and the people who care for them.
