Pools Budget Booster

We've been inundated with requests from Fans as to how they can help and so spurred on by you we have launched a budget boosting fund to support Dave Challinor as we plan for a post virus challenge on the National League for season 2020/21. 

All funds will be directed towards the playing budget and we will regularly promote the achieved total via social media channels.

These are unprecedented times, with unprecedented pressures on the club and we are, as ever humbled by your support.

We join you in our belief that Dave is the man to finally take Pools back where we belong.

Your Questions Answered:

The support so far has been unbelievable and we are keen to keep you informed as to how money will be handled and how and when it will reach the club. Who is involved, how it came about and how any questions will be answered, so here goes:

How Did This Come About?

The club received several offers for help and amongst those was Gary White who wanted to do something along the lines of the brilliant campaign run by Rachel Cartwright a couple of years ago. Discussions between Gary and Mark Maguire CEO led to the idea of a fund to boost Dave's Budget so here we are.

How Will Funds be Dealt With?

Gary was very aware of the need for transparency and so funds will be transferred into a dedicated  bank account which will be fully reconciled against all donations. These will be personally handled and overseen by Mark Maguire on Gary's behalf. The balance of this account will be published here and on social media each month accounting and detailing any time lag of payments received from Go Fund Me along with transaction costs.  Gary White and Mark Maguire will have oversight of this account.

How Will the Club get the money?

The money being raised is to contribute to the Playing Budget for the 2020/21 season. As such it is intended that the week before the commencement of the season whenever that occurs the full total will be transferred to the club and the fundraiser will end. A presentation between Gary and Dave Challinor will occur and will be announced along with final accounts of the fundraiser.

How Will Questions be answered?

To assist Gary in his efforts we have directed queries to the clubs enquiries email and will answer any questions which arise either directly or by passing them to Gary.

How Will Donors be contacted regarding their money can't buy rewards?

Mark Maguire will personally contact all those involved and make arrangements for their rewards prior to the commencement of the season.

When will the prize draw take place?

This will take place in the week leading up to the start of the season and will be announced via the club website and social media.
