Poodly Pawesome is a dog walking and boarding service in the city of Chicago. My partner Jose and I (Amanda) started our business in 2012 with a few flyers and a daydream. We have been very grateful to have many successful years in Chicago and as of now we have been in business for 8 years and employ 15+ people. Poodly Pawesome has had so many great people on our team, and we serve some of the coolest dogs... and cats!
However the Covid 19 self quarantine and guidance to work from home has severely affected business.
Our staff of 15 is rotating days on, as we only have work for one person each business day. We understand how devastating these times are on individuals who depend on service work to pay their bills. It is our responsibility as small business owners to advocate for our staff members to help ease these difficult times.
We ask you consider donating a to us and other service businesses you use frequently. We are all seeing huge drops in income. Remember it is up to us to help pull each other through these hard times.
