Poochie needs your help

Randi here Poochie’s mom. It’s tough to be typing this message to anyone that comes across this article. Our dog Poochie needs help.

Life tossed a huge unexpected curveball at Jonny and myself this past week, Tuesday 9/27/22. We had a vet appointment assuming the usual of being treated with medications and sent home. That was far from what happened. We instead were informed our Poochie is very ill with little answers as to why and she’ll need surgery. Our Poochie had a bladder tear with bladder/urethra thickening that needed to be repaired/biopsy asap. Poochie underwent the surgery Wednesday night. The surgery went well but still no answers as to why this is happening to our girl. Poochie has to be hospitalized all weekend until Monday 10/03 to recover and wait for the next answers to be decided which are unknown. She might need another surgery to have a stent placed which will accrue more costs. Depending on Poochie’s biopsy results she could also require chemotherapy and further medical care.

You might be asking yourself after reading, why endure all this medical care/surgeries for a pet? The answer is, Poochie has more to life to give and is our pride and joy. Poochie has shown ZERO symptoms or signs that she was this ill. Her strength is remarkable! There’s no answers how long this has been happening but through her injuries, her spirit has never been broken! She’s remained her happy, loving self! It’s really just the three of us in El Paso and that’s plenty for us! We can’t imagine our life without her. Poochie is the sweetest soul and individually has bonds with Jonny and myself. She’s turned into our emotional support after all the obstacles these past 2 years being away from home.

We’re aiming for $5,000 to assist with her current medical bill of $10,000. Jonny and myself know what we signed up for taking on this treatment. We’re asking for any assistance and thank you from the bottom our of hearts! Please pray for Poochie and hug your loved ones, furry or human extra tight!
