"I've Got Moxie" is my daughter's wonderful pony, and the two of them have an amazing bond! They have done everything together, from winning Horse of the Year titles, to camping trips, to swimming at Fiesta Island! Late this afternoon, Moxie started screaming in pain while in her stall, and in spite of quick vet assistance, we were not able to relieve her pain. We rushed her to the San Luis Rey Equine Hospital, where they discovered she was bleeding internally. My daughter broke down sobbing, and I knew we had to do anything possible to save her. They gave her fluids and blood and we rushed her into surgery when she was stable enough. She is not insured, so we need help to pay for her surgery. Moxie has taught countless children to ride over the years, bringing home untold numbers of blue ribbons, but most importantly, she is my daughter's first love! I had to give her a chance to survive, and any help in supporting this wonderful pony and her child would be greatly appreciated!
