I'm Mick, a second-generation Ukrainian. We are now approaching the fourth anniversary of the invasion of Ukraine, and I want to continue fundraising to make the lives of the people who are defending democracy and their homeland a little easier. Since the invasion I have been involved in significant fundraising efforts to take vehicles and aid to Ukraine, assisting with humanitarian efforts.

As I am not seeking re-election to the Member of Senedd for Pontypridd, I am holding a one-off fundraising evening to both mark the end of my time as MS, and to raise much-needed funds for humanitarian aid.

The money raised will be distributed by myself to existing efforts to support the humanitarian cause in Ukraine.
