Family and friends of our beloved Ponsi are in extreme shock when we heard that he passed away suddenly due to cardiac arrest on Sep 6.
Ponsi shared a bond with his wife, Viji, that stood as the epitome of a loving husband. A loving father whose joy exponentially increased around his kids, Mugil and Thulir. I'm not sure how long it will take to get over this pain but it's the worst experience ever for Viji and these two kids.
To many of us who knew him personally, he was a man with a big heart and cared deeply about people around him. He was a mentor, counselor and a brother-in-need who constantly encouraged people to be the best version of themselves.
Ponsi was a natural leader and pursued his work/career with passion and determination, achieving remarkable accomplishments that yielded many positive impacts for Infosys and EdgeVerve.
As I’m sure you’re all feeling, this loss is a deeply personal loss and makes us realize that there are very few people like Ponsi and they are the most precious thing to cherish. We will miss Ponsi dearly and treasure the time we’ve had with him.
We know this is very difficult news, especially for those of you who knew Ponsi and worked with him.
