APRIL 12 UPDATE FOR PANCHO:
Pancho is headed to the University of Wisconsin for his eye surgery in June! He needs your help to get there. This weekend's goal is to reach the halfway point - $500 will get us there. Please consider donating toward the $500 goal to give this sweet little pup a second chance. Thank you!
Pancho is cleared for eye surgery. Please donate to help this sweet little blind rescue pup to give him a chance at restoring his vision!
Pancho, a small rescued Maltese, has been completely blind for most of his life. Pancho's story is one of neglect and resilience.
Passed around because of his special needs, Pancho has spent most of his days in fear of the unknown. He isn't able toto enjoy a simple walk on a leash, catch a ball, run up and down stairs, look out a window or play with other dogs. Without a family of his own, Pancho is reliant on your generosity for a chance to restore some or all of this vision.
Please consider making a small donation. This sweet little boy deserves a second chance. Thank you!
ORIGINAL POST: I met Pancho when asked to foster an amazing little dog with special needs. It was apparent at first sight that this little guy has had a past filled with suffering and neglect. Matted, dirty, and without vision, Pancho broke our hearts. The result from a medical consult is that Pancho suffered some type of neurological trauma and will need an MRI to determine what his treatment going forward will be. Without diagnosis and treatment, Pancho's outcome is uncertain. As they say, it takes a village. Please be part of Pancho's village and join me in giving this really special boy a second chance. Thank you!
