Dragi prijatelji, poznanici i svi ljudi dobrog srca,

Ovo je Ivan. Ima 24 godine i prije dvije godine iz Hrvatske se preselio u Berlin kod brata. Radio je kao konobar u hrvatskom restoranu. Uvijek je dobro raspoložen, puno nasmijan i svuda širi pozitivnu energiju.

Život Ivana promijenio se u sekundi. Brutalan napad ostavio ga je na rubu smrti. Teška ubodna rana u arteriju noge uzrokovala je gubitak gotovo 5 litara krvi. Srce mu je stalo. 50 minuta liječnici su ga oživljavali.

Protiv svih izgleda, preživio je. Ali njegova borba tek počinje.

Borba za život i oporavak

Nakon dva tjedna u komi, mjesec dana na intenzivnoj njezi i još mjesec dana na neurološkom odjelu, sada je na rehabilitacijskom centru do daljnjega. Liječnici ne znaju hoće li ikada ponovno moći hodati. No on se ne predaje – a ne smijemo ni mi!

Zašto su mu potrebna sredstva?

Iako su osnovne terapije pokrivene, suočava se s ogromnim izazovima:

✅ Životni troškovi – ne može raditi i trebat će mu financijska stabilnost.

✅ Prilagodba doma – kako bi mogao živjeti što samostalnije.

✅ Psihološka podrška – jer trauma nije samo fizička.

✅ Dodatne terapije – koje mogu ubrzati oporavak i dati mu novu šansu.

Liebe Freunde, Bekannte und alle herzensgute Menschen,

Das ist Ivan. Er ist 24 Jahre alt und ist vor zwei Jahren aus Kroatien nach Berlin, zu seinem Bruder umgezogen. Er war als ein Kellner in einem kroatischen Restaurant tätig. Er ist immer gut gelaunt, lächelt viel und verbreitet überall positive Energie.

Das Leben von Ivan hat sich innerhalb einer Sekunde gewendet. Ein brutaler Angriff brachte ihn in eine lebensbedrohliche Situation. Nach einem Messerstich in die Beinarterie verlor er an die 5 Liter Blut. Es kam zum Herzstillstand. Die Ärzte versuchten ihn daraufhin 50 Minuten lang zu reanimieren.

Wie durch ein Wunder hat er überlebt. Aber sein Kampf fängt jetzt erst an.

Ein Kampf ums Überleben und Genesung.

Nach zwei Wochen im Koma folgte ein einmonatiger Aufenthalt auf der Intensivstation und im Anschluss ein Monat Aufenthalt auf der Neurologie. Zur Zeit befindet er sich bis auf weiteres in einem Rehabilitationszentrum.

Die Ärzte wissen nicht, ob er jemals wieder laufen wird. Ivan versucht stark zu sein und nicht aufzugeben – genauso wie wir!

Wobei benötigt er jetzt am meisten Hilfe?

Auch wenn die grundlegenden Therapiemaßnahmen finanziell gedeckt sind, steht er dennoch vor großen Herausforderungen:

· Lebensunterhalt – Durch seine Arbeitsunfähigkeit ist er auf finanzielle Unterstützung angewiesen.

· Anpassung seines Wohnumfeldes – Um ihn bei seiner Selbstständigkeit im Alltag zu unterstützen.

· Psychologische Unterstützung – Da das Trauma nicht nur physisch ist.

· Zusätzliche Therapien - Die ihm eine schnelle Genesung und eine neue Lebensqualität ermöglichen.

Help Ivan Walk Again

Dear friends, acquaintances, and all people of good heart,

This is Ivan. He is 24 years old and moved from Croatia to Berlin two years ago to live with his brother. He worked as a waiter in a Croatian restaurant. Always in good spirits, full of smiles, and spreading positive energy wherever he went.

Ivan's life changed in a single second.

A brutal attack left him on the brink of death. A severe stab wound to the leg artery caused him to lose almost 5 liters of blood. His heart stopped. Doctors fought for 50 minutes to bring him back.

Against all odds – he survived.

But his fight is only just beginning.

Fighting for life – and for recovery

After two weeks in a coma, one month in intensive care, and another month in a neurology ward, Ivan is now in a rehabilitation center – indefinitely.

Doctors are unsure if he will ever walk again.

But he is not giving up – and neither should we!

Why does he need financial support?

Although basic therapies are covered, Ivan is facing enormous challenges:

✅ Home adjustments – so he can live as independently as possible

✅ Psychological support – because trauma is not only physical
