Hi, my name is Sage Remo and I am currently a freshman in the film program at Pratt Institute. I'm raising funds for the production of my new short film, Pomelo, which explores the dynamic between an immigrant Filipino mother and her first generation American daughter, delving into themes of culture, guilt, womanhood, and family.

Pomelo stands not only for diversity, but inclusivity, both on and off screen. Featuring a cast and crew predominantly of women and people of color, my projects aim to open up more opportunities for creatives that lack representation in media. Funds will be allocated to securing locations, props, catering, festival entry fees, and ensuring safe working conditions for my cast and crew.
