Polperro Music and Arts Festival!

Hello all!

I'm Phil Thomas, the current reigning Lord Mayor of Polperro, a tradition that has been going on in our village for 25 years now! It is because of volunteers and fundraising who dedicate their time and resources each year that make the festival (dedicated to the local arts and music of the village and surrounding areas) goes smoothly and runs each year. This is surely the biggest event in our village's calendar and has people coming from all over the country adding to the income of the village which is sorely needed. Ranging from activities like children's drama performances, local choirs singing, our annual duck race and a traditional throwing of the newly appointed Lord Mayor into the harbour! There is surely something for everyone in our 9-day event!

But we need your help!

We are asking for any donations to help us keep the festival going and give us the ability to buy new decorations, book new musicians and pay for the ever-increasing licensing and insurance needed to ensure a safe and fun festival for all!

The village and all its patrons who enjoy this festival would be eternally grateful and would ensure we could keep this festival going for at least another 25 years!!
