As we all know, COVID-19 has wrecked havoc through the hospitality industry. For the past 6 months Pollara Pizzeria has been feeding the community of Berkeley and beyond with delicious Roman Style pizza and dishes.   We would love the opportunity to continue doing so.  

Owners, John and Kayta Smulewitz, have devoted their life to creating a caring and generous work environment for their staff as well as a caring and generous environment for their restaurant guests.  

Our urgent request is for the support of these hourly wage earners who are struggling to pay for basic necessities and might not be able to file for unemployment for various reasons.  

Every little bit helps and anything that you can contribute is so deeply appreciated.  100% of contributions are going directly to our devoted staff.
