Hello all, thank you for supporting our campaign.
In August 2025, me and my friends began the startup of our nonprofit, the Colorado Youth Political Research Center (stylized to CYPR|Center). During a time of mass political confusion, our nonprofit started with the goal of clearing the air of youth politics in Colorado. Youth politics have often been especially nebulous, shifting like the wind with social media trends. As young people in Colorado, we have a unique finger on the pulse of current attitudes. We here at CYPR|Center want to provide a service to political parties and individual candidates in Douglas County by polling the youth, interpreting the data, and providing it to candidates and the public. Young people, even non-voters, hold a unique power over politics in our nation and data on their political views can create real change in the way politicians present themselves and run their campaigns. We are non-biased and non-partisan organization acting within the bounds of the legal regulations established by 501c(3).
Unfortunately, there is a hurdle. We need $300 of funding to officially file as a nonprofit under 501c(3). Legally, we aren't even allowed to make a website until we do this. We are seeking to crowdfund this $300 from those who would both like to see young people get involved in politics and contribute to the change in the way outdated political campaigns are run. Donations above $300 will be used to cover future costs, such as filing to remain in good standing with the state of Colorado or other legal fees. If you are one of those people, please consider donating and sharing this campaign with family and friends!
Sincerely,
The team at CYPR|Center
