Help Polite Conversations Podcast get new equipment

Hello Hello lovely listeners of the show!

Reluctantly finally doing this fundraiser for some new equipment for the show. If you’ve heard recent episodes you’ll have heard that my laptop and mic are both nearing or over a decade old. I don’t want my laptop to die suddenly and have my pod come to screeching halt, so I’m hoping to get a new one soon, as well as some other new equipment (mic, stand, better chair) I’ve needed for the show.

I’ve also added in the cost of producing the mammoth gift episode I’ll be releasing once and if we hit the fundraising goal.

Being a very small left leaning show that was severely impacted by the decline of twitter, it’s been a struggle just to keep it going. So i’m hoping with your help we can finally get a little budget for other expenses related to the show that aren’t just (barely) covering it’s day to day operations.

Thank you so much for your support all these years! It’s an honour to even have a podcast mic that is almost a decade old! Help the show get through the next decade, especially in these times of rising extremism around the globe.
