Police Officer Rob McKiernan's fight for his life
Donation protected
Robert Daniel McKiernan is a 49-yr-old loving husband and adoring father of 3 teenage boys. He is a Marine Veteran and 20 year Police Officer/Detective. In May of 2019, Rob went to the ER with abdominal pain and fever. He received the devasting diagnosis of Stage 4 Colon Cancer, which had metastisized to his liver and lungs.
Rob is an honorable, humble and widely respected man to his colleagues, community and all who know him. He has been courageously fighting this disease with chemotherapy and radiation since his diagnosis almost one year ago. He continues to be the wonderful husband and father he has always been to his family, while this dreadful disease marches on.
Rob has devoted his entire adult life to serving his country and our communities. Now, he needs our help during this extremely difficult time. He protected and served our country as a Marine, during the First Gulf War. As a police officer and detective, he has unselfishly and courageously served the public, putting his own life on the line. Now, he is in the fight for his life against this disease. We're asking that you contribute any amount you can to help ease the financial road ahead for the family, as Rob fights this dire disease.
Being the proud and humble man Rob is, it was hard for him to even reach out for help like this, but his family needs it now and your donations will be so deeply appreciated. Thank you for your kindness and generosity during this most difficult time for Rob, his family and all who know and love him.
Please share with your friends, family & colleagues so we can rally around Rob and his family in his battle for his life!
3/18/20 Update: GFM has requested I clarify the beneficiary on this page. Per GFM rules, only one person can be named beneficiary. After careful family consideration, it was decided that Rob's wife would be that person. Rob's wife's name is Mary Abigail McKiernan. As many of you know, everyone calls her Abby. I have designated that all the funds go to her, so that she can distribute on Rob's behalf, as needed for expenses in his fight for his life.
