Police Dispatcher in Need After Losing Husband

On Saturday, July 23rd, 2022, Troy Michael Allred lost his life after succumbing to injuries sustained in a roll-over car crash. Troy was recently honorably discharged as a decorated veteran of the U.S. Navy after serving ten years as a Torpedoman on both the USS San Francisco and USS Montpelier. At 29 years old, Troy was the kind of person who positively impacted all those fortunate enough to get to know him. He was only beginning to set down roots with his wife, Antwanicia.

On the night of his death, Troy was experiencing a crisis that most likely led to this tragic accident. Like many of his fellow servicemen and women, Troy had a difficult time adjusting to life outside of the military and, as a result, faced significant challenges. Most importantly, he found it difficult to get the care needed to recover from his service-related trauma.

Antwanicia Allred has been married to Troy for the last five years. Troy’s passing immediately created financial hardship for Antwanicia, and she needs any assistance we can provide. Nicia, as she is known to her friends, is a member of the law enforcement community, dispatching for her local community college police department. Nicia also dispatched for the California Highway Patrol before settling with her husband in Tucson, Arizona.

Nicia’s car was a total loss in the accident, and because of the life-saving measures taken to try to save Troy’s life, she will have significant medical liabilities. The end-of-life arrangements have started to quickly drain whatever financial resources she currently has available to her.

The impact that losing someone has on a person can never be forgotten, and anything that friends or family can do to help with the impending costs would be greatly appreciated.
