Hi all,

I'm Simone, owner and founder of Pole Fitness with Simone. I have wanted to create a Showcase for years but some life changing news our family has recently learned has made me want to arrange it as soon as possbile.

My Grandma (also known as Grandma Peg) has been very unwell for almost two years and has been fighting to find out why ever since. After being fobbed off by doctors and Harlow Hospital, she was finally disagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease at Papworth Royal Hospital not long in to 2026. It hit us all hard and has been extremely upsetting for everyone.

For those who may not know, MND is a progressive, terminal condition and she is only going to keep getting worse and worse. Unfortunately the government do not give much help without a fight, and they take time (as is with most things). However, with MND, time is one thing we do not have. We need things done fast, because we do not know what time we have left with her.

Fundraising for someone with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is a critical way to help cover costs for specialized equipment, home adaptations, care support, or to fulfill last-minute wishes (which equipment and specilised carers will be needed for).

The MND association is incredible and do amazing work helping improve the quality of life for those who are in desperate need. They can provide grants. but there is a limit, and they only go so far. Fundraising is crucial for improving quality of life and creating lasting memories whilst we can.

With that said, we welcome you to come and enjoy an evening of Pole and Aerial entertainment! Come and watch our talented students in a relaxed, friendly, welcoming atmosphere and raise some money for something extremely close to my heart.

For many of our students, it will be their first time performing so a lot of applause and cheering is necessary! Please bring your own drinks and snacks. You will be sitting on the floor, unless you'd like to bring your own chair and pop it at the back.
