My dad is my best friend. I would be late to school some days because my dad and I would have to get a star in Mario 64 before leaving. My dad has always been here for me. I can't describe how good of a man he is to my wife and me. He is the most kind-hearted and giving person I've ever known, and hopefully, I can give back by setting up this fundraiser. Social Security has messed up my father's birth date, knocking him off his private insurace. We have spent 1000s of hours on the phone and many trips to Social Security to fix it. I even have Lindsey Graham and Tim Scott in the United States Senate trying to fix the issue. There has been no luck, and we've been trying for months. My dad needs vascular surgery and an amputation. He has been unable to drive and has been stuck on the couch for months. He is in extreme pain 24/7. He never asks for any help, but I do what I can. I have been cooking for him and spending time with him trying to keep his mind on positive things. We are selling antiques and Pokemon cards to raise money, but health care is costly, especially when the government makes it impossible for my dad to have coverage.

My dad is my hero. He wants to get back to living a good life. He wants to be able to drive to the store and buy some Pokemon packs so we can enjoy opening them. My dad is a simple, giving, and loving human. I know the Pokemon community, which we both love being a part of, is a fantastic group of people. I ask for help for my dad. If you can not donate, I would be grateful if you could share this and pray for him to be healed. Although it is highly unfair what Social Security has done to him, my father has no resentment. He is a good man. I love him so much.
