Poisoned Dogs Vet Bill

Hi everyone,
I’m jumping on here in hopes to help out my neighbour who has recently been going through a hard time and has lost dad recently and has had to quit his full time job to care for his mum.
He left his home and returned the next day only to find his 2 dogs incredibly unwell. The vet has said that they have been poisoned and now every day they have been at the vet is costing $2500.
The elder dog has unfortunately passed away but now the youngest, Ruby is still fighting for her life.
He has been left with so much loss and grief and a massive weight on his shoulders so I would seriously appreciate any help to go towards paying for the vet bills to keep him afloat during this tough time.
