Hi! We are the Poirier family, we have a big heart for working with people, especially children. Right from the beginning Mike and Laura talked about adoption in many different forms.

Everyone's journey to becoming parents is very different and in many cases can comes with its own set of struggles. We have been blessed with four  children and have the pleasure of raising two of them, Ross and Tabby. Our other two children we never met and we believe they are happy and healthy playing with their Great Grandparents who have gone before us.  Dealing with miscarriages was a very personal matter for a long time until we realized how unfortunatly common it is. We built a great support system around us who continue to pray for us and help us on our parenting journey.

Our desire is to grow our family but physically Laura's body needs a rest.  Since adoption has always been on our mind and hearts we feel led to pursue this journey.

We have started the paperwork! We have started the courses!

We have also started looking at the large financial undertaking this is.  We have taken on extra work where possible and are striving to minimize our budget as best we can but know there is a long road ahead.
