Hi Folks,

I am known as spoken word performer Rosalin Blue in Cork and Ireland. For over 30 years I have dreamt of creating music around my poetry, and finally, my dream is coming true.

In collaboration with Rik Appleby, we have produced a music album of 10 of my poems, capturing their atmosphere and heartbeat with sensitivity and intuition. Each piece is of a different musical genre, including ambient, gothic, blues, jazz, techno and reggae.

Together we’ve made an album to listen and dance to, with soundscapes bringing the poems alive within the music. Each piece of sonic poetry is a contemplation that hopes to move you inside and out. We will be launching the album in Cork this coming September.

I am paying all the musicians and producers involved. This is why I am fundraising, so every penny you raise for me will go towards the production costs. The album will come out as a CD with a beautiful booklet of illustrated poems.

Recently, a well-known platform for creative funding unfortunately closed down, and Gofundme does not offer a reward system for your investments. However, to give donors an incentive, I have come up with a system of creative rewards for you myself!

Have a look:

With deepest gratitude for your donations and help!
