On Friday morning, June 23, a cherished colleague and member of our POETIC (www.iampoetic.org) family, Chelsea Robertson, suffered a devastating loss when a fire ravaged the Robertson home, destroying the family’s home, vehicles, and all their belongings. We remain immeasurably grateful that Chelsea, her spouse, and children are physically safe and escaped unharmed.

As the Education and Internship Director at POETIC, Chelsea models resiliency time and time again, as she works tirelessly to equip girls who have experienced commercial sexual exploitation and child maltreatment in persisting forward and breaking down educational and occupational barriers that so often prove to be obstacles to a youth’s path forward.

During this time of loss and recovery, we invite you to join us in surrounding the Robertson family with care and financial support as they begin to rebuild and persist forward.
