PODS EOY Celebration - Appreciation Fund
Parents of Students with Disabilities (PODS) would be hosting an end-of-year celebration- "Excellence, Pride and Art-ivism" on May 17th. It will be a night of inspiration from current OSA students with disabilities, alumni, and community Art-ivist! During this event we will be recognizing the work of the Special Education Team at OSA, a team that has gone above and beyond in teaching our exceptional children during the pandemic.
Why are doing this fundraising?
Often times our BIPOC and disabled community are given additional tasks without recognition, stipend, or compensation. We would like to plant a seed of change. With funds raised on this platform, every person on the Special Education Team, as well as every member of our panel during our EOY Celebration, will receive a gift of appreciation for their participation at the event.
All contributions are tax-deductible through our partnership with the Alliance of Parents & Teachers at the Oakland School for the Arts (APT).
