Granje, a mountain village near Višegrad in Republika Srpska, is the place where General Dragoljub Mihailović spent his last days at liberty guarded by commander Budimir Gajić and other Chetniks from this region. Because of this loyalty to the General, the village later suffered a lot from the communist authorities, but it never lost its libertarian spirit, so it was the same in the last war in 1992-1995. produced many heroes who created the Republic of Srpska, some of whom gave their lives for freedom. In 1996, a monument was erected in the village of Granje in honor of all the heroes of this region who died in the liberation wars.

This summer, in honor of the resurrected God, for the repose of souls and for the forgiveness of sins, we began the construction of a church in the village in order to have a place where future generations will gather and cherish the memory of our famous ancestors.

We collect financial resources for construction from our own sources and donations from good people, so we are turning to you for help and donations in accordance with your wishes and possibilities.

Granje, planinsko selo u blizini Višegrada u Republici Srpskoj je mjesto u kome je Đeneral Dragoljub Mihailović proveo poslednje dane na slobodi čuvan od strane komandanta Budimira Gajića i ostalih četnika iz ovog kraja. Zbog te svoje odanosti Đeneralu selo je kasnije mnogo stradalo od komunističkih vlasti, ali nikad nije izgubilo svoj slobodarski duh pa je tako i u poslednjem ratu 1992-1995. dalo mnoge junake koji su stvarali Republiku Srpsku od kojih su neki za slobodu dali svoje živote.

1996. Godine u selu Granje podignut je spomenik u čast svim junacima ovog kraja stradalim u oslobodilačkim ratovima.

Ovog ljeta u slavu Boga vaskrsloga, za pokoj duša i na oproštaj grijehova započesmo izgradnju Crkve u selu da bismo imali mjesto gdje će se okupljati buduće generacije i njegovati sjećanje na slavne pretke.

Finansijska sredstva za gradnju prikupljamo iz vlastitih izvora i donacijama dobrih ljudi pa Vam se ovim putem obraćamo za pomoć i donaciju u skladu sa vašim željama i mogućnostima.
