Please help us get a portable oxygen concentrator for Mom!

As many of you know, our mom was diagnosed with lung cancer in February of this year. The diagnosis and treatment themselves have been devastating, and being confined to the house takes even more of a toll on her morale.   Unfortunately, the cancer has caused her to lose roughly 50lbs, including a fair amount of muscle mass.  Consequently, Mom is physically unable to lift her own oxygen tank; this means that she can't go anywhere without someone else there to help her lift the tank in and out of the car. 

We contacted insurance about getting her a portable oxygen concentrator, but they informed us that they would not cover this cost.  Normally Mom would hate the idea of asking others for financial help, but recently we've learned that our financial situation will be extremely strained starting next month.

If any of you have a few dollars to spare toward this cause, we would be truly grateful for your help in giving our mom her independence back!
