Po Fund Me

Hi, my name is John. My partner Zoë and I are both performing artists in Calgary, and we own the most perfect cat named Po. We adopted her from a foundation to which Po was brought without any family. At 3 months we met her and brought her home with us. She has had an excellent life living with us and our roommate, but little did we know something was very wrong with Po since before we even met her.

 

Either before she was brought to the foundation, or even before she was born, Po had a hole in her diaphragm. This had resulted in her small and large intestines travelling through the hole and into the upper part of her chest. This meant that Po's lung capacity was being compromised, and we were told surgery was immediately necessary in order for her live properly. This surgery cost us over $6000.

 

Since finding out this surgery was needed on Monday, November 22nd 2021, we have been in constant contact with the vet and the foundation who adopted our good friend Po to us. Unfortunately we still require help financially.

 

Po is currently safe and at home with us recovering. We are so grateful her surgery was successful.
