Pat Smullen Cancer Trials Ireland Charity race
It’s been 32 years since I last rode on a racecourse but this year, I’m returning to the saddle for something far more meaningful than a trophy.
When my dad was diagnosed with terminal cancer in March, it became my driving force to take on this incredible challenge. My riding career simply wouldn’t have existed without him — not only is he a true legend as a jockey, trainer and breeder, he also guided me and so many others in their careers. He was my foundation, my mentor, and my biggest supporter.
This race is deeply personal — it’s in honour of my dad, and in memory of my dear friend Pat Smullen, whose courage continues to inspire me.
Please help me make this moment count by donating to this cause so close to my heart.
Every contribution is a step towards making a difference, just like Dad and Pat always did.
