My name is Nyjah Payne and on November 10, 2025, I suffered an unimaginable tragedy. Elijah, my oldest boy, was taken away from me far too soon due to gun violence.

Elijah was full of life - a kid who loved music and basketball, and a smile that would light up a room. He had big dreams and an even bigger heart. He was a son, a brother, a grandson, cousin, a friend, and a joy to everyone who knew him.

I am left not only heartbroken, but also facing unexpected expenses - cremation costs, memorial services, and the time needed to grieve and heal.
