PNWPGA 100-Hole Marathon - NMSU PGM

Hello Everyone,

My name is Christian Ballard and I am a PGA Academy Instructor at Chambers Bay. I am participating in the Pacific Northwest PGA 100 Hole Marathon this year where golf professionals from the section select a charity to raise money for. The choice for me was pretty obvious as I graduated from the New Mexico State PGA Golf Management Program in 2019. All of the funds raised will be put towards scholarships that the NMSU PGM team use to help students get through the program that have financial limitations. I can recall numerous occasions of going into Pat Gavin's office because I needed to find some money to pay rent, pay for textbooks, or participate in PGM tournaments. Every time, Pat had scholarship funds that I could apply for. Since those funds were so instrumental in my journey through the program that led me to the career I have today, I want to raise as much money as possible so that future students have the same opportunities I had during my time there.

Donations can be made in a flat rate or on a per-hole or per-birdie basis. If you have a creative way you'd like to donate, I'm open to other ideas as well!
