My dearest friend and her family were displaced after a fire started in a convenience store next to their home. Around 3:00am, she woke up to a woman screaming in the street and the sound of smoke detectors. Her and her fiance grabbed their children and ran. The only items they were able to grab was a cellphone to call 911 and their car keys. The firefighters were able to grab a few pictures off the wall, but everything else was destroyed. The house has been demolished and nothing was able to be saved. They are currently with family and have been given a few items to get by. They could use any help they can get to get back on their feet and provide a stable environment for their 3 children.
