Bobby Wakesleep's chemotherapy

My best friend Bobby was diagnosed with Stage 3 Hodgkin's lymphoma on March 13, with a treatment regimen of 4 hours of four IV drugs, repeated every 2 weeks for 6 months.

Since beginning chemotherapy in April, the onset of peripheral neuropathy is already taking a toll. Medicaid has been making treatment extremely difficult- here's a direct quote from her about the situation this month.

*"They set a hearing for the 8th on whether to renew my coverage. My mom called to reschedule because chemo was clearly going to make attending an impossibility. The receptionist said it was rescheduled for the 29th. On the 10th we got a letter saying that our request to reschedule had been denied for insufficient justification, and that it would continue on the 8th. A day or two later I got a letter that my healthcare was cancelled because neither I nor a representative showed up to the hearing (since until it was already over we believed it had been moved ahead)."*

To be clear, she's not on the hook for anything yet- but she needs a financial safety net to get through this ordeal. Stressing about money on top of navigating treatment is counterproductive.
