Hello, thank you for reading. My name is Javi aka "El Javi". I have been creating music for 16 years since the release of my first album Gypsy Muse.
In most present time I have been producing music to complete the trilogy "A Gypsy Journey". We have released the first two parts, Trip & El Refugio.
The reason for this campaign is to raise finds for the creation of a music video. I want to share with you the story behind it.
This project is a reflection of my experiences for the past 7 years, all starting with a solo tour following the album Self-Portrait . It was a tour fully taking a "leap of faith", it was a test to prove myself I was in the right path, allowing things to unfold, plus a hustle mentality.
This was the beginning of a journey, the Gypsy Journey.
The first part has songs that were inspired by the travels, meeting people, creating stories, solitude, observation, playing shows, jamming and all ups and downs you face on tour.
All songs were composed on the road, I didn't even had a phone to record the ideas. I just played and build them while I was traveling. And at some point I met Jordi Marin (Drums). He then joined that journey and we traveled together finishing those songs as our first collaboration. Part 1: Trip
The 2nd part, El Refugio, reflects that moment one faces when longing for home, that is why the tittle El Refugio (The Refuge).
Home is where the heart is. There are songs like Olivia (for my daughter) & Colorado (a tribute to my new home, Denver).
Recuerdo a Paco
For the 3rd part, (No Title yet). We have 8 new songs. The final chapter for this journey. All songs in this album show a more matured sound. It has been a beautiful experience of self-realization and evolution.
We will be releasing those 8 songs one by one. In January 2020 we will begin this releases with the new song "The Last Goodbye". With a bittersweet tone for the culmination of the Gypsy Journey.
The goal we have is to release music videos for each of this songs.
This campaign is intended to raise funds for the creation of the first video. The funds will pay for dancers, choreographer, videographer, director, editor, location, lights, etc...
We are planning to start shooting by the end of November so we can share the final product with you at the beginning of next year.
All we have released has been independently, we pay out of pocket for producing, distributing, publishing and marketing, that is why now we are here asking for help.
It takes a lot of humility from my part to ask for funding, so I appreciate for you to at least taking the time to read this. It would mean the world to us to have your support.

We want to offer to any donation over $500 a private live performance by El Javi. We can discuss details. Depending on amount it can be duo or trio.
