I left the hospital on 2/13 after a 6 day bout with Aspiration Pneumonia. I now need 2 aides round the clock to operate a hoyer lift. Medicare doesn't pay for them. The second decade of my life has been ruined through a disease called Charcot Marie Tooth (CMT) type 2 unknown gene. The Pneumonia has left me completely unable to walk. My neurologist says its temporary and ill be back to a walker in another month or so. My daily life is so difficult every movement hurts even the hoyer which triggers my cervicogenic migraines. Physical Therapy starts soon. I have therapy and psychiatric help, but that's not cheap either. Any amount will be appreciated.
