Umm Mustafa from Gaza (North Gaza):
We are a family of eight members. We have been displaced multiple times, our house was bombed, my husband and I were injured, and my daughter was martyred. We are living under difficult conditions in North Gaza amidst rising prices and shortages. My children suffer from malnutrition, and I cannot afford to buy them clothes or healthy food due to my difficult financial situation. I have a one-year-old daughter who needs diapers and milk every two weeks.
At first, our life was happy and we had a beautiful house where my family and I lived. With the beginning of the war, we were displaced to another safer house, but unfortunately the house was bombed and my husband and I were injured, and my daughter was martyred. Then we were displaced again from one area to another, not knowing where to go. Thank God, I gave birth to a baby girl during the war at the beginning of the year and named her Farah, but the joy did not come. Our life became worse and more difficult with the rise in prices and the shortage of food supplies. My children suffer from malnutrition, and my eldest son suffers from a mass in his pelvis and is being treated in Egypt, but due to the circumstances, he did not travel or receive his treatment. I hope that the merciful and honorable hearts will stand by me and help me provide for my children’s needs.
