As most of you are aware, Dan Kummer was diagnosed in March 2014 with a brain tumor. Over the past 18 months, he has received numerous treatments and both Dan and Juanita have remained steadfast in their faith and perserverance through it all.

Some of you may not know that about a week ago, Juanita landed herself in the hospital as she was dealing with some pain in her neck for about a month, followed by massive swelling on the left side of her neck. It was discovered that Juanita has blood clots in 3 vessels in her neck....we praise God that this did not result in a stroke! As a result of this diagnosis and the subsequent treatments that will be required to break up and get rid of the clots, Juanita has been ordered to be off of work for at least 3 weeks. A procedure is scheduled for Friday October 23rd and may require her to be hospitalized for 4 days. As you can imagine, she has already exhausted her paid-time-off for the year to assist with Dan's needs.

I know so many of you pray daily for Dan and Juanita and some of you have donated your time to visit them or provide meals and other items; that has been such a blessing to them and they tell me all the time that they feel such a peace even when most would feel utter despair.

I am raising funds to help supplement the income that is being lost due to Juanita's recent health issue so that financial stress does not need to be something that exists in their life. I know Dan and Juanita have given countless times to those in need, through this website and through other means, and now it is time to allow others to bless them.
