Nursing school books

Hello all-

I don't usually use these platforms but have decided to give this a shot. My daughter was recently accepted into nursing school. We are thrilled and so proud of her. With that comes a few hiccups that were unexpected. She will have to go to part time at her current job, she was denied financial aid and is receiving $0 to help her through this journey. We are going to help her with other living expenses so she can focus on this. She lives in New Hampshire and has no family close by to help. We have several grant applications out and are waiting for a decision. School starts in less than a month. We are hoping her friends, our friends, our family would be able to donate for her books and start up supplies which include a uniform that is required. She has no idea we are doing this and would likely be embarrassed- she has a hard time asking for help. Cidney is extremely independent, and an excellent student. She made the deans list at her most recent college while working on nursing pre req's. This program is going to be a challenge as it is only a year long which means she will have no time for anything except work, school, and maybe a few hours of sleep. From the bottom of our hearts, if you have any contribution it will be put exclusively to books and school necessities. Prayers to all during these difficult times. Covid has set all of us back. My daughter works in a nursing home with an active Covid unit. She is the only employee/resident who has never tested positive. She is tested weekly. Thank God! We truly appreciate any donations made on her b behalf. Thank you.
