Run For LBPD Widows and Orphans

Hello Friends!! Thank you for coming to this GoFundMe site. S2 Performance Training is a fitness program for individuals who are looking to get into a police academy. Many members of the S2 Performance Training program will be running the Long Beach City Half Marathon and will be doing this for charity. The Non-Profit Organization that we have chosen to run for is the Long Beach Police Officers Widows and Orphans Trust Fund. The money that is raised will help provide emergency financial assistance to the families of Long Beach Police Officers killed or injured in the line of duty as well as providing assistance to active officers whose families are faced with crisis. The organization also has scholarships available to active officer's children who are at the college level in their education.

In a time when the job of a police officer is so difficult, let's show them our respect and support!! They place their lives on the line daily and leave their families at home to go out on the street to protect us and our families!!! These funds will be in a trust for when crisis strikes (though God willing it doesnt) and/or when financial assistance is needed by children left behind by tragedy.  The goal is to reach $2,500.00 although we expect to raise far beyond that!
