Jagger's Journey - Help Jagger get medical equipment

Donation protected
Hello,

This fundraiser has been created to help a young Sussex Inlet family in their time of need. Little Baby Jagger was born in November 2024, since his birth this happy resilient little man has faced a bumpy medical journey. Jagger has an elevated Diaphragm that pushes against his lung making it harder to breathe. In addition, he is experiencing aspiration when feeding, his food is making its way directly into his lungs. He is currently being fed via a nasogastric tube, a huge transition for baby, a breastfeeding mum and the entire family. The cause of this issue is yet to be identified and further investigative surgery is required. Jagger has surgery booked for early March with many Royal Children's Hospital visits ahead of him in Sydney. Rochelle and Connor are Jagger's parents, and he has two older sisters Maddison (14 years) and Koralee (4 years). Connor has just completed compulsory knee surgery and is facing his own set of challenges and recovery.

The family has recently spent an extended stay at the Royal Children's Hospital, meaning the family was split up with Mum, Dad and Jagger in hospital and Maddison and Kora with family in Sussex Inlet. The distance and prolonged time apart takes an emotional toll on everybody. The cost of travel, accommodation, medications, medical equipment and future surgery presents a large financial outlay at a time where both parents have had to cease work to care full time for baby Jagger, Connor unable to work with his own medical recovery.

We cannot change Jagger's Journey at this stage, but we can offer love and support as well as practical help to lessen the burden of this time. They are a beautiful family that always get behind supporting others. It is their turn to be supported and feel the love of family, friends and community.

Many people. Giving a little. Changes a lot.
All we need is 881 people donating $10 each.

A breakdown of exactly where the money is going is detailed below:
  • Feeding Pump - $2000
  • Feeding Bags - $70/day for 3 months = $6,510
  • Travel/Parking for hospital stay = $300
  • Total: $8,810

Thank you for taking the time to consider a donation.

Kindest Regards,
The Staff at Little Eadie's Cafe Sussex Inlet
