Please help lay my father to rest

My name is Gerson Macias.

My family and I received the news of my father’s sudden passing at the end of January. I never expected to see my father leave the way he did and the impact of the circumstances surrounding his death have greatly affected us. We are not usually the type of family that is comfortable accepting help from others, but we’re thankful for the loving friends and family that have offered their support and we know that in order for us to give my father a proper burial, we need to open ourselves up to asking for donations to cover the expenses, which need to be paid very soon. This was not a responsibility we expected to inherit, since we weren’t able to stay close towards the end, but it’s one we must take on to ensure my father is laid to rest with dignity.
