My name is Nicholas. I am 30 years old and am struggling financially with affording the vehicle debt I have accumulated.

In 2019 my father and I started a landscape company in which we purchased vehicles to operate. Two of these vehicles I bought, and one I co-signed on.

We were not able to recover from the Covid pandemic and unfortunately closed down in 2023.

The vehicles I purchased, a 2014 F-150 and a 2009 mini cooper (which was a combination of personal and sales vehicle), are unusable due to both having a broken timing chain issue resulting in destroyed engines. Collectively I owe roughly $6,000, both with a monthly payment of around $400.

Neither vehicle is worth a fraction of what is owed on them so selling them to pay off what remains of the loan is unfortunately not an option.

The remaining truck, the one I am co-signed on, was my daily driver for the last year. I use it to get to work and my father uses it for thing’s that would be inappropriate to use the company issued truck for.

However, this morning that truck broke down and has a $3,000 price tag to repair.

I was able to be lucky enough to receive a vehicle from a family member that i can drive however it will need nee breaks, a new belt, and an oil change in the coming weeks.

I am not one to ask for financial help often, but I am drowning in monthly payments with not much help coming from banks or other financial institutions. Due to owing a business and taking on debt, by credit score is too low and my debt to income to high for most loans.

I have started a new job, I am going three weeks with out a paycheck with the job switch, my savings are running low to pay bills and live so now I am turning to anyone that has the means and asking for help. i just need a boost to get a head.

If you are able, willing, or simply want to, any amount of financial help would be appreciated beyond belief. I am so close to turning the corner and getting out of debt and I fear that I may be just a little too short of the goal post.
