Friends and fire family we've created this page to help Simon and his family out with some financial support. Just recently Simon was admitted into the hospital due to him not feeling well and after multiple tests he was diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML) a uncommon type of blood cell cancer that begins in the bone marrow. Simon has been a dedicated USFS employee for the past 9 years where he started on the BDF as an AD employee and moved his way up the chain to AFEO on the CNF where he currently worked. Not only is he a colleague but he has been a friend and brother to many of us. Simon will be starting his first dose of chemo within the next day or so.

Many of you have reached out and would like to help in any way you can. Simon will have heavy expenses and a reduced ability to work as he battles this cancer. Your financial support will help ease that burden of both medical expenses and basic life necessities of food, rent and bills. Every dollar helps thank you for your generosity.
