My friend John was recently diagnosed with a severe tooth infection as a result of impacted wisdom teeth. His dentist told him that he’ll need to get his wisdom teeth removed as soon as possible to avoid further complications. John is underinsured, and will have to cover the costs of the procedure out of pocket. Removing all four of his wisdom teeth is going to cost around $3000, which means he’ll have to choose between emergency surgery and paying for rent/bills. This money will be used to ensure that John is able to pay for the surgery, and any money raised beyond the initial $3000 will be donated to The Redhawk Native American Art Council, dedicated to educating the general public about Native American heritage through song, dance, theater, fine art and other cultural forms of expression.
