As embarrassing as this is, Eric and I (with our two girls and three senior dogs) are about to face eviction from our apartment. Most of you know that Eric has faced health challenges and has just now been able to start working again. This has been a devastating day as we thought we had more time. We are facing some extreme circumstances and do not know where to turn. I am having to humble myself to even post this, as we are embarrassed to ask for help. Please, if anyone has any resources that can assist us with just being able to get our head above water, we would greatly appreciate it. We do not want to burden anyone; and no one owes us anything. We are just a simple family with simple means - I just do not know what else to do.
