My sweet brother

As much as I know Mikie won’t like this and never asks for help, he needs it now more than ever. My poor little brother and my sister in law have endured more pain just this year than anyone should have. Not only did they find their good friend and tenant deceased, they are also both currently in the hospital with injuries sustained when their deck collapsed. Mikie is the hardest worker, best dad, brother and friend. He is always there, I mean, never on time, but ALWAYS there. Katie is a bundle of love. Taking care of their 3 babies and loving everyone else’s as they’re hers. They have 3 kids, the youngest being just 4

months old. We are extremely grateful that their injuries aren’t life threatening but they both have a long road to recovery. We still don’t know the extent of all of their injuries but Katie has a broken back, wrist and is unable to move her right arm. Mikie has 4 fractured ribs, a concussion and contusions all over his body. I know that he is going to want to come home and go back to work but right now, recovery is most important.
