On September 30th, 2014 Phyllis lost her long and strenuous battle with stage 4 COPD. After being in and out of hospitals for the past 2 years Phyllis has been unable to work and earn a consistent income on disability.
Being a single mother of 2, unable to work has taken a substantial toll on her family, not only financially but also emotionally. She leaves behind 2 sons, Charlie and Brandon who are now forced to come up with funds to help cover her funeral expenses and past due bills. With everything else going on this has just added unnecessary stress to an already tragic situation.
Phyllis has dedicated her life to caring for others less fortunate than her and now her family is in need of help. Anyone who has came into contact with Phyllis can speak highly of her caring and compassionate nature. She had a way of connecting with people and helping those in need.
In addition to losing a parent prematurely her sons now forced to take extended time off work to deal with the planning of a funeral and consequences of this tragedy.
Thank you to everyone who has reached out to our family and who has supported us, thank you and God bless.
With love and appreciation,
The LaRue Family
